- Speaker: "Emily McCullough -"Atmospheric LIDAR in the High Arctic"
Emily is a PhD candidate at the University of Western Ontario. She went from undergraduate astronomy, to planetary science, to using lasers to study Arctic clouds. Now working remotely for Dalhousie University as a Lidar Support Scientist, and running one of the lidars at Eureka, Nunavut, full time from St. John's. She'll show some of how that is done, and what she actually does during visits to the lab.
