Telescopic-only Comet "C/2017 T2 PANSTARRS", taken March 16th, near the
constellation Cassiopeia and about as bright as it's going to
get. Sum of 74 one-minute exposures recorded with an ASI294MC Pro
cooled CMOS camera on the back of an equatorial fork-mounted 12" Meade
LX200 telescope with focal reducer (at f/6.7), from my SkyShed POD
observatory in East End St. John's. The motion of the comet against the
sky during the ~80 minutes it took to take the exposures is obvious here (note the gap
in all the star trails; the exposures were taken in two sessions).
