Image of comet C/2011 L4 "PanSTARRS" taken from Vancouver, British Columbia.
Photographed by Tim Caruk 2013 04 16

Comet PanStarrs is now becoming fainter as it recedes from Earth.  It is rapidly rising in the early morning sky and can be observed at about 1:30am in the constellation Cassiopeia.  The core and faint tail can be seen in this image taken from Vancouver, in the early morning April 16, 2013, with a 400mm lens and a Canon 300d camera. I combined 20 15sec images using Deep Sky Stacker.
