M51 photographed from St. John's on April 21, 2007 by Tim Caruk, imaged through a 4" refractor and a Meade DSI Pro Imager. The image was made from 26 30 sec images and were edited and combined with Registax. No filters were used. Camera noise was subracted with a single dark frame image made with the camera lens covered. |
