refractor and an H-alpha sensitive Olympus SP310 camera. Eight 60 sec images were combined to increase clarity.

M27 "Dumbell Nebula", in Vulpecula, photographed from St. John's on August 10, 2007, by Tim Caruk, with an 6"
refractor (using an LPR filter) and a modified Olympus SP310 digital camera to allow H-alpha light that appears as red emission nebula.. Twelve 60 sec images were combined in Registrax.
