Quick image of globular cluster M3 taken from St. John's, an hour after the 17 March 2010 RASC St. John's regular members meeting, during an inaugural imaging session for a new backyard observatory. Five Registax4 co-added 30s exposures taken through an 11" aperture equatorially-mounted SCT using a modified Canon EOS 350D, with Baader CLS-CCD clip-in EOS filter. Curves adjusted in The Gimp.
