The Andromeda Galaxy (M31). "Dark clouds near the core of The Andromeda Galaxy" (7x30s exposures with modified Canon 350D, Celestron CPC 11 from East End St. John's backyard SkyShed POD observatory; co-added in Registax4, levels in The Gimp under Linux)). So close to Summer Solstice, and with clouds prevailing until about midnight.
