Image of the  "Lagoon Nebula", in the constellation Sagittarius  is a cloud of mostly hydrogen spanning about 130 light years across. It is illuminated by the star cluster NGC 6530 of young hot blue stars embedded in the nebula. These images were taken from St John's August 6, 2013 using a 110mm Ed refractor and a modified Nikon D5000 camera by combining 38 30 sec images.
