This is the Triangulum galaxy (M33) - one of our neighboring galaxies, taken September 24, 2014 @ Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. Images taken with
a CPC1100 (on a wedge), 6.3 reducer/corrector and a Canon 6D
(unmodified). Autoguiding using ED80, QHY5LII-mono and PHD2. Images
captured with assistance of BackYardEOS. Stack of 11, 240 second subs @
800iso (44min total integration time). Stacked and processed using
PixInsight. I was impressed with this given the light pollution of Mount
Pearl (which is typical of a small city suburb). PixInsight helped
considerably with LP/gradient removal.
