The Rosette Nebula in Monoceros, is an area of current star formation and is associated with the star cluster NGC 2244.  This image was taken using a 90mm Dialyte telescope designed by my brother David Caruk.(See below).  A Nikon D5000 modified camera was used for this 36 min exposure.

This is a Dialyte design telescope designed and built by David Caruk. DialyteTelescopes have a single element front lens and have corrector lens in the rest of the scope. It was used to take the above image.
