"M42 - Orion Nebula" taken February 17, 2018 from Quidi Vidi Lake,St. John's, Newfoundland. Sony A7R Mark 3 unmodified at prime focus on OTI Quantum 4 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope at F15 on CPC1100 tripod, four 30 second frames at ISO 1600 tracked, but unguided. Frames aligned manually and median filtered in Photoshop; structure and details enhanced in Color Efex Pro 4; final exposure, noise reduction and colour enhancements in Lightroom CC.
