The Moon, photographed from St. John's on November 27, 2006 by Tim Caruk using his 4 inch f7.7 refractor with a 2X barlow, using a Sony digital camera set to ISO 100.

The image shows an interesting "shallow valley" that I have never seen before. The shadows were just right to expose this unusual feature. It can be seen just left of center.
