The Moon, photographed from St. John's on January 25, 2007 by Tim Caruk with his 6 inch refractor and 2X barlow, using a Canon 350d slr digital camera . Registax 4 was used to combine four pictures, to give a better view than the previous image taken November 27, 2006. This unique "shadow valley" feature is apparently visible for just 4 hours per month when the shadows are just right.
