Images of Jupiter taken from St, John's, Newfoundland.

This shot of Jupiter was taken from St. John's on June 26, 2007 by Tim Caruk. Jupiter was imaged with a Celestron neximager connected to a 10 inch Newtonian. Two of its Galilean moons a visible. These are most likely IO and Europa. 159 images were combined and edited with Registax and IRIS

This shot of Jupiter was taken from St. John's on July 15, 2007 by Tim Caruk. This one was also imaged with a 10 inch Newtonian scope and a Celestron Neximager set to 1/5 sec exposure. 160 images were combined with Registax and atmospheric dispersion was corrected optically. It is interesting to  note that one of  the large equatorial cloud belt regions now appears as three smaller bands.
