This shot of Jupiter was taken from St. John's on August 15, 2007 by Tim Caruk. It was taken with a Celestron 8 inch scope, using a Neximager. 375 images were processed with Registax. Since Jupiter is very low on the horizon atmopheric dispersion was corrected optically to increase visible detail.

This image of Jupiter showing the great red spot storm and two of the Galilean moons, was taken from St. John's on August 19, 2007 by Tim Caruk.  Registax was used to combine 209 images that were taken with a Celestron 8" scope and a Neximager.

This image of Jupiter was taken on August 21, 2007 by Tim Caruk with his 8 inch Celestron scope, with a Neximager and an ifrared filter and an atmospheric dispersion corrector to increase setail.  222 images were combined with Registax. Note the Great Red Spot on the far Left edge of Jupiter.
