This shot of Jupiter was taken from St. John's on the morning of June 4, 2007 by Tim Caruk. It was taken with a Celestron 8 inch scope. 200 images were processed with Registax. Severe atmospheric dispersion, since Jupiter is very low on the horizon, was edited out with Registax color shifting. | |
135 images taken from the previous images and edited with Registax. Natural colors were brought out to show a realistic appearance however less deatail is visible.( Best viewed at actual size or 100%) The camera used was a Celestron Neximager with a IR filter attached. |
