International Astronomy Day

The RASC St. John's Centre will be at Signal Hill,
holding International Astronomy Day to explain astronomy and
offer views of celestial objects through telescopes.

May 2nd 2020 (2pm to 5pm)
and Outside: 2pm to 5pm and 8 to 10pm *

Butter Pot Star Party

The RASC St. John's Centre will be holding its annual Butter Pot Star Party
at Butter Pot Provincial Park offering telescopic views of the Moon, Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar Viewing during the day.

Terra Nova National Park 2020 Night Sky Celebration

The RASC St. John's Centre will be joining Terra Nova National Park with astronomy
presentations, and offering telescopic night time views of the Moon, Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day

Friday, August 22nd at Malady Head (8pm to 11pm) *
Saturday, August 23rd Visitors Centre (2pm to 4pm) *
Saturday, August 23rd Sandy Pond (9pm to 11pm+) *

International Observe the Moon Night

The RASC St. John's Centre will be holding its annual International
Observe the Moon Night at the Signal Hill National Historic Park
Interpretation Centre Parking Lot.  Close up views of the Moon,
and other celestial objects, will be provided.

Sunday September 26th 2020 (7:30pm to 9:30pm) *

* NOTE:- All outdoor events are weather permitting
