International Observe the Moon Night

The RASC St. John's Centre will be holding its annual International
Observe the Moon Night at the Signal Hill National Historic Park
Interpretation Centre Parking Lot.  Close up views of the Moon,
and other celestial objects (Saturn and Deep Sky objects)
will be provided.

October 28th 2017 (6pm) *

2018

International Astronomy Day 2018

The RASC St. John's Centre will be at the Johnson Geo Centre, Signal Hill,
to explain astronomy and offer views of daytime and night time
celestial objects through telescopes.

Tentatively Saturday April 21st 2018 (2pm to 5pm and 8 to 10pm) *

Terra Nova Park Night Sky Celebration

The RASC St. John's Centre will be joining Terra Nova National Park with astronomy
presentations, and offering telescopic night time views of the Moon, Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day

August 10th & 11th 2018*
Evenings at the Activity Centre
Saturday afternoon at the Visitors Centre

Butter Pot Star Party

The RASC St. John's Centre will be holding its annual Butter Pot Star Party
at Butter Pot Provincial Park offering telescopic views of the Moon, Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day.

Tentatively August 17th & 18th 2018 *

* NOTE:- All outdoor events are weather permitting
