International Astronomy Day

The RASC St. John's Centre will be at the GeoCentre, Signal Hill, holding
International Astronomy Day to explain astronomy and offer views of
the Sun, and other celestial objects through telescopes.

Tentatively May 3rd 2025
Noon to 4pm
9pm to 11pm (outdoors) *

Butter Pot Star Party 2025

The RASC St. John's Centre will be holding its annual Butter Pot Star Party
at Butter Pot Provincial Park offering telescopic views of the Moon, Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day.

Friday August 1st Noon to 11pm *
Saturday August 2nd 1pm - 4pm *
Saturday August 2nd 9;30 - 11pm *

Terra Nova National Park Night Sky Celebration

The RASC St. John's Centre will be joining Terra Nova National Park with astronomy
presentations, and offering telescopic night time views of the Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day

Saturday, August 23rd Visitor's Centre (2pm to 4pm) *
Saturday, August 23rd Sandy Pond (9pm to 11pm+) *
Sunday, August 23rd Visitor's Centre (2pm to 4pm+) *

International Fall Astronomy Day

The RASC St. John's Centre will be at the GeoCentre, Signal Hill,
holding its annual "International Fall Astronomy Day", at the
GeoCentre Parking Lot, on Signal Hill. Views of the
Moon, and other celestial objects will be provided.

Tentatively, September 27, 2025 (7pm to 9pm)*

International Observe The Moon Night

The RASC St. John's Centre will be at Signal Hill,
holding its annual "International Observe the Moon Night"
Views of the Moon, Saturn, and other celestial objects
will be provided.

Tentatively, Friday, October 4th 2025 (7pm to 9pm) *

* NOTE:- All outdoor events are weather permitting
